Our bridge teams offer demonstrable conceptual and detail design experience of structures under a myriad of different procurement processes. Recent designs range from major multi-span viaducts to simple single span concrete bridges for both road and rail schemes.

Safety in the construction, operation and maintenance phases is Grontmij’s primary concern during the design process. We consider that our involvement in the UK Design and Build / Early Contractor Involvement market places over the last 15 years has enabled us to develop a detailed appreciation of safety issues whilst aiding in the provision of durable, buildable structures.
