Grontmij has picked up the ‘Best Supplier Contractor Award’ at the 2009 RoSPA / Severn Trent Water Occupational Health and Safety Awards.

The awards form part of Severn Trent Water’s drive to ensure that all its suppliers achieve at least RoSPA’s Gold health and safety standard within 3 years; a level already attained by Grontmij. On this occasion, Grontmij took the top honour in the face of strong competition from Severn Trent Water’s many suppliers.

RoSPA and Severn Trent Water evaluated suppliers in relation to their safety track record and their efforts to inform and engage employees in order to promote a positive safety culture within their organisations.
